WASHINGTON D.C. – East Coast ethnic production company, D.C. Cherry Video, has released Freaks Wit Cheeks to celebrate its two year anniversary. The title stars ebony beauties Cherokee, Misty Love, Janea Foxx, Daimond , America and Juicy.
“As a director here on the East Coast, I want to show you world that we can produce a quality product as well as entertain,” DC Cherry Video CEO, Kev Kash, told AVN. “Freaks Wit Cheeks is going to challenge our best selling series In Ass We Trust for the top spot. We bring out the freak in starlets when they work with DC Cherry Video; none of that going through the motions on my set. I have worked with some very sexy women so far…they like the change of pace with the way we do things out here.
Known primarily for its all-black content, DC Cherry Video currently has four titles on the street. Kash said that being a long distance from Porn Valley has provided some challenges for the company. “[We’re East Coast] so some of our challenges have been dealing with long distance replication. We have been getting our product printed on the West Coast due to the good prices, but shipping kills you. Which, in turn, cuts into profit. When DC Cherry Video was first started, no one took us serious, but after going on two solid years in the business we don’t have that problem anymore.”
According to Kash, the company plans on releasing up to 5-10 more titles in the coming months.
“We’re going to continue to brand our name so that fans and consumers will know that when they buy one of our movies, its going to be money well spent,” continued Kash. “See, being an East Coast company, my main focus is to gain market share on the East Coast. Consumers love the fact that we are shooting some of the top black stars in the business ‘East Coast style,’ meaning raw, freaky and with a swagger. I want DC Cherry Video to be considered the best production company on the entire East Coast.
“There are plans to do more interracial titles that will feature ‘phat asses’ of all races. I’m talking Olivia O'Lovely, Sara Jay type of asses. So stay tuned as we continue to set the tone for the East Coast porn game.”
