Coquette to Exhibit in France

Coquette vice president Catherine Horea today announced that the lingerie company will attend Lyon, France to exhibit its six lines of garments. The exhibition will take place from September 3-5 at the Eurexpo Conventions and Exhibition Centre, and will host over 500 other lingerie fashion companies from 34 exhibiting countries.

“We have attended Lyon for the past several years and we’ve always had great results,” Horea said. “Lyon always offers a favorable climate for business and we expect this year to offer an even higher return than previous years with its new design. One can always tell the success of a trade show by its return rate and exhibitors at Lyon keep coming back,” she said.

Horea expects the lace over satin corset (style 393), which has been a favorite in recent months, to be well received at the exhibition. Also expected to do well are Coquette’s Holiday and Valentine’s Collections, as well as ZAKK Men’s Wear.

“This show differs drastically from any of the other shows we attend,” Horea said. “Most of our clients are from specialty stores who come to us with a specific line in mind. Buyers from plus-sized stores who visit us at Lyon are interested in our Diva line. In the same way, we have specialty buyers who come to us interested in our Masquerade line for Mardi Gras, but have little interest in any of our other lines. Clients at Lyon know exactly what they want and they search out those specific lines to get what they want. We are excited to be a part of Lyon this year and we look forward to a successful show.”

Coquette will be in Hall 4 at booth A74-78 at the show. For more information about Lyon, visit lyonmodecity.com.
