MARINA DEL REY, Calif.—Practically fresh off the plane, adult performer Chanel Preston has been tapped as the 2010 XRCO Trophy Girl at the 26th-annual awards ceremony, slated for April 29 in Hollywood, Calif. The XRCO event is one of the original award shows in adult entertainment.
Though she only made the decision to perform in adult movies in January, the 24-year-old Hawaii resident already has shot scenes for Vivid, Digital Playground, Wicked and other studios. A tanned brunette with a 5-foot-8 frame and 32D-26-32 body, Preston has expressed surprise over the speed at which her career is progressing, and she sees the coveted position of XRCO Trophy Girl as a testament to that success.
XRCO Co-Chairman Bob Krotts agrees, saying, “One of the hardest things related to the XRCO is choosing deserving women to be the Trophy Girls (aka Heart-On Girls) for the annual Awards Show—especially since it is widely known that many stars in the past who were Trophy Girls have gone on to become legends in the business. What we look for in a XRCO Trophy Girl, besides the obvious traits of beauty, talent and freshness, is a woman serious and supportive of the business—someone who frankly plans to be around for quite a while. For this reason, the XRCO is proud to announce our selection of Chanel Preston.”
Upon entering the adult industry, Chanel Preston decided to aim for the top. “Before shooting my first scene, I thought long and hard about how competitive this industry is,” she said. “There are tons of beautiful girls joining adult entertainment all the time, which makes XRCO’s selection of me as a trophy girl an even bigger honor. I’m excited for the opportunity to meet my peers at the show and hope next year I might be nominated for a few awards myself.”
An announcement issued Wednesday shared some tidbits about Chanel’s perspective on sex. “Naturally submissive when enjoying the company of a man,” it read, “Chanel recently discovered sex with another girl releases her dominant side. In fact, her newest fantasy is to administer an after-school detention to an innocent, 18-year-old schoolgirl.”
The release also states, “Impulsiveness runs through Chanel’s veins and guides the majority of her actions, from men, to moving to Hawaii, to occasionally jumping out of planes. The self-proclaimed exhibitionist’s decision to enter into adult entertainment was carefully thought out, though. Within seconds of performing her first striptease on stage, Chanel knew she made the right decision.”
