Celebrate New Year's Eve With 'Foxtrot' on HotMovies.com

PHILADELPHIA—One of classic porn fans' greatest disappointments is the fact that only two of Cecil Howard's multi-award-winning XXX movies have been released on DVD, owing in part to Howard's bad experiences with his original releasing company. But now, some (and perhaps eventually all) of Howard's masterworks will be available via the internet, thanks to HotMovies.com.

Cecil Howard's Foxtrot was released on videotape just two months before AVN began publication in February, 1983, but since that format died roughly a decade ago, the movie has been unavailable from any source ... until now. Following up on its unprecedented and successful month-long runs of Command Cinema's Scoundrels and Star Angel earlier this year, Hotmovies.com is again working with the legendary Howard to raise penises across the globe with this latest seasonal limited exclusive.

"It's all about the moment of risk and of exposure," said Howard, who's responsible for directing 29 of the most classic movies from the Golden Age of Porn. "Welcome to a hot, pink world of ecstasy! Foxtrot is one high class party and I'm excited for a new generation to experience the vibe."

Screenwriter Anne Randall's intelligent script (which won the Best Screenplay award) is loaded with payoffs, and the movie itself was nominated for 13 and won a total of 10 awards from the Adult Film Association including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor. Indeed, Foxtrot's cast reads like a who's who of golden age stars: Penthouse centerfold Marlene Willoughby and AVN Hall of Famers Samantha Fox, Vanessa del Rio, Tiffany Clark, Sharon Mitchell, Ron Jeremy and Veronica Hart, as well as Merle Michaels and the little-seen Marilyn Gee, Sandra Hillman and Linda Vale. The movie features 13 sex scenes (including a hot Willoughby solo), and one particularly notable scene pairs HotMovies spokesman Jeremy with Hart in a steamy explosion of lust. Even Deep Throat director Gerard Damiano called it "far and away the best adult film of the year" in his January, 1983 review of Foxtrot for High Society Magazine.

"We are forecasting the hottest New Year on record," said HotMovies director of business development James Cybert. "It’s time to toot your horn, blow your whistle and pop your cork. It’ll be wet and juicy; that much I know."

HotMovies.com will run Foxtrot for one month only, starting December 28. In conjunction with the exclusive showing, the site will revive Scoundrels and Star Angel for those customers who missed them the first time.

"I love this partnership," said Howard. "I know when I release a movie through HotMovies.com that I'm putting it in the right hands, that they will promote the movie to the fullest and that I will reach the most knowledgeable, hardcore fans around. It's really great to know some people still appreciate quality."
