Cal Vista’s ‘Alice’ Out Now

LOS ANGELES—Director Erica McLean’s re-imagining of the classic Alice in Wonderland fairytale is in stores now and also available for purchase online. Alice, starring Sunny Lane, is released through Metro’s Cal Vista feature line.

Alice also stars Evan Stone (as the Mad Hatter), Aiden Starr (Dweedle Dum), Andy San Dimas (the White Rabbit), April Flores (Queen of Hearts), Katie St. Ives (the Mouse), Kimberly Kane, CJ Wright, Michael Pacino, Otto Bauer (the Catepillar) and Seth Gamble. There is a special cameo appearance by Nicki Hunter. The movie was written by Clive McLean and Erica McLean. It is co-directed by Carlos Batts.

The movie illustrates Alice’s adventure in Wonderland as she and her friends try to gain access to The Hole, Wonderland's most popular nightclub. Along the way Alice is met by many of the classic characters.

“I want to thank Cal Vista for making Clive’s passion come to life,” McLean said, referencing her late husband, famous for creating Hustler’s Barely Legal line. “Clive would be thrilled with how his dream has turned into reality. He loved the magic Sunny makes in front of the camera, and with the vision of Cal Vista, Alice is going to excite everyone the world over.”

Lane, who plays the title character, said of working with McLean that she “really knows how to capture the sexual essence of the characters and the story. So come with me to Wonderland. To my fans, if you want to see me do a lot of scenes, this is the movie to purchase. I'm in three scenes, and they're all going to leave you with both heads happy.”

The promotional website, Alice-2010.com, contains exclusive content from the movie, trailers, photos, behind-the-scenes footage, news, upcoming promotions and special downloads.

An accompanying music video for the song "Yeah I," performed by Dirt & Bank, serves as the title track for the movie, and features cast members Lane, San Dimas and Flores with the hip-hop artists.
