HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—AVN Hall of Famer and mainstream movie producer Brittany Andrews will be hosting a special showing of her movie, Trick of the Witch, this Friday evening at the Laemmle Sunset 5. On tap will be not only the extended "director's cut" of the film, which she says will be "the last night you will get a chance to see this cut in theaters," but also appearances by director Chris Morrissey and several of the cast members.

"Trick of the Witch stars indie film starlet Share Cherrie (Lipgloss Explosion!) and centers on a group of fashion models stranded at a secluded mansion while fighting an evil witchcraft curse," wrote a reviewer on DreadCentral.com. "The film is inspired by Italian witchcraft Stregheria and was shot all over Los Angeles earlier this year [2010]. Actress Shay Alexis makes her feature film debut and co-stars along with Owen Alabado (of the gay indie hit Rock Haven), Suzy Cote (television’s CSI and The Guardian), and cult Australian personality Renae Boult (aka Abigail De’Ath and star of The Cloth Dagger)."

Doors open at 11 p.m., with the showing to commence at 11:45, though attendees can meet for "pre-screening cocktails" at 10:30 at the Sushi Dan restaurant right next to the theater. It's the same address: 8000 Sunset Boulevard, at the corner of Sunset and Crescent Heights in West Hollywood.

And for those who can't get enough of Share Cherrie, she'll be hosting her own event, a birthday party—no, we don't know how old—on Thursday, March 24, at Coco Bongo, at 3311 S. Main St., just south of downtown L.A. According to the event's Facebook page, "Special guests will be hosting the evening," including at least director Morrissey, with a "red carpet" beginning at 9:30—and there'll be a "Special Surprise Performance" at 11 p.m..

For those who want to support adult performers' mainstream careers—and possibly even hear firsthand about Brittany's harrowing adventure in being caught in Tokyo during the recent 9.0 Japanese earthquake and tsunami—Trick of the Witch will be the place to be on Friday night!
