CHATSWORTH, Calif. - AVN Award-winning director and actor Brad Armstrong has completed post-production on his Wicked Pictures war movie Coming Home.
"It's a three-hour epic with 10 scenes and a couple of extra bonus scenes, so there was much editing involved," the director told AVN.com. "The toughest thing about editing yourself is that you don't want to make yourself look like a dick, so you spend that extra couple of minutes."
Set in America and Iraq, the ambitious feature has already won high praise from preview audiences. "So far we've had a couple of screenings with it at Wicked and the words, 'the best movie we've put out,' have come from a couple of people," claimed Armstrong.
The director also rated this movie as a personal favorite. "For me, as director and an actor, I think it's one of my best," he said. "Kirsten [Price] was great in it, and the story really played well. It's probably the most 'mainstream' movie I've shot as far as the story goes. The 10 scenes are fantastic and I don't think there's a weak one in the bunch, but they're almost a secondary consideration when it comes to watching this movie. The story is good and it really clicks."
Coming Home also stars Barrett Blade and Jessica Drake. The movie is scheduled to street on September 5.
