Bobby Slayton Special Airing Thursday on Showtime

LOS ANGELES—Bobby Slayton, regarded as the “Pitbull of Comedy,” will unleash his in-your-face humor on Showtime with Bobby Slayton: Born to Be Bobby, his latest stand-up special.

The show premieres at 9 p.m. Thursday, March 4.

Throughout the 60-minute set, Slayton performs his intense, unapologetic style of stand-up as he comments on things like the annoyances of airport security and the job-like requirements of marriage. But, according to a release from Showtime, he really gets the theater roaring when he singles out audience members while sharing his old-school observations on various minority groups.

Aside from having hosted the AVN Awards multiple times, Slayton played Joey Bishop in the made-for-cable movie The Rat Pack and has appeared in theatrical releases, including Ed Wood, Get Shorty and Dreamgirls.

He has also appeared on dozens of television shows, including The Tonight Show and Politically Incorrect. Currently, he can be seen five nights a week exclusively at Hooters Casino Las Vegas.

Bobby Slayton: Born to Be Bobby is executive produced by Judi Brown-Marmel, Robert Hartmann, Stephen Kroopnick, Stu Schreiberg and Slayton.
