Bob Wolf to Leave Adult Supersource

Long time sales veteran Bob Wolf has resigned from his position as general manager of distributor The Adult Supersource effective April 30.

While Wolf is not disclosing his future plans, he had nothing but glowing things to say about his employer.

“Leaving here takes my breath away. Working for David Sturman has been the most exciting 10 years I could have ever imagined. I have what is, I would say, a master’s degree in our industry working for someone as innovative and aggressive as David. It has been a fabulous education and if it was not for him and what he has helped me with in his patience and guidance, I never would have been in the position to do what I am about in my life,” Wolf told AVN.com.

Wolf is working with The Adult Supersource Human Resources department to locate, interview, and hire his own replacement. The Adult Supersource is a vast distributorship offering DVD, VHS, novelties, magazines, and magazine packs, so interested persons should be multi-tasking and possess extensive managerial, sales, and marketing experience (adult preferred but not required). This job is located in San Francisco, so relocation would be required if applicants are not currently in the San Francisco area.

Wolf offered this advice to his successor, “Be well-rounded, be patient, care about the people that work you. There are just dozens and dozens of really nice, good people who work here who I believe that I have cultivated along the way who deserve to be treated with respect and who really, really work hard to do the right thing all the time. I’d like to see someone come in who is personable and cares about his employees because I do.”
