Belladonna Leads Team for AIDS Walk L.A.

LOS ANGELES—Adult star Belladonna is forming a team to participate in the 25th annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles, taking place Oct. 18. Dubbed "Team Evil Angel," the group will have all proceeds it raises matched by the production/distribution company of the same name, which carries Belladonna's movies, and her own company, Belladonna Entertainment.

Belladonna told AVN she decided to spearhead the walking team after she came across a flyer for the event during a visit last week to Starbucks. "I kept looking at it, like, 'I need to do this, this seems like a great opportunity to contribute to something good,'" she said. "And I thought of John and Karen [Stagliano, who are both HIV-positive] at Evil Angel, and it just clicked. In honor of them, I'll just do this and show my support."

Belladonna's goals are to recruit 20 people for the team and raise $2,500, and both are already at least halfway met. Though John Stagliano will be out of the country on the day of the event, his wife Karen will walk with the team.

"I'm excited! I've never done anything like this before, I think it's going to be really cool," Belladonna said.
