AVN and Erotica LA sponsored the Babes and Aces Charity Poker Tournament Thursday night at Hollywood Park Casino.
Co-sponsored by Hotmovies.com, Adam & Eve, Vivid, Genesis, Pure Play Media, Wicked Pictures, Pure Vanilla, Wantedlist.com and Goflix.com, the money raised at the event will be distributed to various charities by b.a.b.e. (Breast Awareness Benefits Everyone).
There was an impressive turnout with, as promised, plenty of babes and lots of aces. Among the stars in attendance were Sunny Lane, Joanna Angel, Flower Tucci, Taylor Wane, Jesse Jane, Jenna Haze and numerous others.
While the main draw was the Texas hold ‘em no limit poker tournament, there was also a silent auction and a buffet.
The tournament featured a first place prize of $5,000, but the real attraction for most of the attendees was the chance to play cards with porn stars.
The silent auction — which wasn’t all that silent, by the way — was emceed by Taylor Wane and comedian Bob Levy and offered items like the chance to be on set at a Suze Randall photo shoot and an autographed guitar from Evan Seinfeld from VH1’s “Super Group” show.
Thanks to the well-stocked bar, the conversation remained lively throughout the evening.
The b.a.b.e. organization (http://www.babe-a-rella.org/) supports the Eileen Stein Jacoby Fund at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, and Westside Family Health Center, Los Angeles.
Scott Herman of the Eileen Stein Jacoby Fund commented, “It was a great evening. Marcia [Hrichison of b.a.b.e.] did a great job. It was real pleasure to attend.”
