B. Skow Tackles 'Clerks,' 'Powers,' 'Bueller'

LOS ANGELES—Vivid Entertainment contract director B. Skow has several more major parodies in the pipeline to follow up the much buzzed-about Pee-Wee's XXX Adventure, which debuted on Vivid.com last week and arrives on DVD tomorrow.

Three projects Skow has in various stages of completion are Clerks XXX: A Porn Parody, Austin Powers XXX: A Porn Parody and Ferris Bueller's Day Off XXX: A Porn Parody.

"I love making adult movies," Skow said. "Certain mainstream films have a sexual tension that begs the freedom of being in porn, and those are the titles that I select to parody."

Skow just wrapped production of Clerks XXX, which spoofs Kevin Smith's seminal 1994 cult favorite, and is in pre-production on Austin Powers XXX, a parody of a series of films that were themselves parodies. "They satirized British spy movies of the 1960s, but had their own outrageous plots and sexual innuendo," Skow explained. "Our takeoff goes beyond the pale and doesn't need to rely on innuendo at all."

Skow is also in pre-production on Ferris Bueller's Day Off XXX, in which he gets to tap the not-so-innocent side of the iconic character. The original movie was released in 1986 and still has a huge fan following, as evidenced by the excitement over star Matthew Broderick's semi-resurrection of the character in a Super Bowl ad earlier this month.

"I think adult movie fans who grew up watching Bueller will love this parody," Skow said.

All three titles will be released later this year.
