CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Anabolic Digital is targeting the high-def video market with a series of Blu-ray disc releases covering a variety of genres.
"We want to give the end consumer every reason possible to purchase the Blu-ray format, so we're releasing movies in all of the popular niches," sales rep Dan M. told AVN. "Whether it's MILF, gang bang, ethnic, interracial, big boob, young girls...we want to capture a wide audience."
Anabolic released its first Blu-ray disc Girlgasmic in January. The company began a regular schedule of new day-and-date releases on Blu-ray and standard DVD in May, issuing such titles as Initiations 22, Nice Rack 16 and Lascivious Latinas 7.
"We're also going into our back catalog to reissue some of Anabolic's choice titles on Blu-ray," said Dan. "So far, we've re-released Ass Cream Pies 11 and Balls Deep 13, and they're doing very well."
Anabolic's next two Blu-ray titles are Teenage Anal Princess 8 and Sweet Cheeks 10, both due out in July. The company plans to release director Vonn Fink's Electric Cherry in August.
