Adult Performers to Sing Karaoke for AIDS Benefit

When an HIV scare hit the industry in 2004, performer Amber Peach was among those moved by the incident.

“It’s scary to think that something like that could happen,” she said. “Then I realized that I should do something to help people with AIDS.”

And she did.

Peach, along with Pure Play Media, have organized a Karaoke Night in Burbank featuring a number of adult industry professionals to benefit HIV/AIDS prevention and education efforts in Ghana, on Africa’s west coast.

The program is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. Tuesday at Sardo’s Bar, 259 N. Pass Ave. in Burbank, featuring Peach, Gianna Lynn, Sunny Lane, Cousin Stevie and other adult industry members who will sing and dance for a good cause.

Proceeds from the event will to Santa Ana, Calif.-based Sankofa Center for African Dance & Culture.

“I really have to thank April Storm (Pure Play’s public relations manager) for contacting everyone and helping put this together,” she said.

Besides contributing portions of the evening’s receipts to the charity, the event will also feature a benefit raffle which includes prizes such as a dinner date at Sardo’s with Peach, Lane or Lynn. The winner also wins an autographed batch of Peach’s Pure Play Media titles.

Those attending will also have a chance to be a judge during the filming of the eight-girl orgy title, Cousin Stevie’s Pussy Party, along a number of Pussy Party movies distributed by Pure Play.

Other prizes include hand blown glass adult toys from Phallix or Dynamite Distro, along with select items from Mofo Wear and other prizes.

“I’ve been lucky enough to get a television show and I’m lucky enough to get this successful Pussy Party series so I feel I should help people any way I could,” said Cousin Stevie, who also stars in “Family Business,” Seymore Butts’ reality show on Showtime.

Meanwhile, Peach says she and members of the charity plan to visit Ghana this June to see the impact of ongoing HIV/AIDS education and prevention efforts there.
