Adult Industry Responds to 'Open Invitation' From Pure Play

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif.—Lured by an open invitation from Pure Play Media and Private Media Group, adult entertainment industry personalities partied with music fans and members of the swingers community at the Aqua Lounge in Beverly Hills last Friday night. The red-carpet affair, a launch party for the newly released Private title An Open Invitation: A Real Swinger’s Party in San Francisco, was organized by King Ryan Events.

Among the attendees was Open Invitation’s female lead, India Summer. In the production the Girlfriends Films contract star and James Deen play a couple whose marriage is strengthened by their alternative-lifestyle adventures. The elegant, thirtysomething brunette exuded sophisticated charm as she made the meet-and-greet scene with director Ilana Rothman.

The slender, curly-haired Rothman, clothed in a divinely revealing black sheath, talked about her background prior to making Open Invitation, which garnered the top rating (AAAAA) from AVN. After getting out of film school, Rothman spent some time at BehindKink.com, shooting documentary footage of the action at famed San Francisco-based BDSM and fetish site Kink.com.

Just as much in evidence as the makers of Open Invitation was the crew at Immoral Productions, which is also distributed by Pure Play. Porno Dan Leal was everywhere, mugging for the photographers assembled to shoot Immoral’s very first contract girl, Amy Brooke, luscious in a skin-tight blue mini-dress.

Standing next to Immoral's production manager, Sandy Olds, was statuesque Lily LaBeau, most recently from Washington state but born in Arizona. Now she’s in Porn Valley, where she has worked her way through her first dozen or so shoots. She’s done work for Lethal Hardcore, Bang Productions, Combat Zone, Digital Sin, Smash Pictures, Girlfriends Films and Immoral Productions—but the barely legal beauty did let slip that one of her favorite experiences was shooting for Matti Klatt and Hustler.

Another fresh-faced beauty was Alexia Rae, also hanging with the Immoral bunch. Spotted in the crowd as well were Valentino, Tee Reel, Jenner, Rick Shameless, Wanted List's Danny Ting and Pure Play Media CEO Richard Arnold.

Though many of the revelers seemed to be enticed primarily by the bands, some attendees were drawn by an announcement about the launch party that appeared on LifestyleLounge.com, a swingers social networking site—an appropriate move given that some orgy scenes in Open Invitation feature a mix of professional performers and real swingers. We talked to a cute couple scouting for a threesome ... and it looked like a pretty happy hunting ground to us.

Open Invitation launches in North America on June 17. For distribution information, go to PurePlayMedia.com.
