Adam & Eve Toasts Eden in Vegas

LAS VEGAS - Adam & Eve Pictures took over the Palms Hotel and Casino this weekend with two lavish parties to celebrate the upcoming DVD release of Eden.

The Hillsborough, North Carolina-based company on Saturday night joined one of the biggest annual promotions in Vegas, Jimmy's Naughty Nightie Nite VI, an elaborate pool party in which over 1,000 guests come scantily clad in only lingerie and pajamas.

Dozens of high-rollers and celebrities joined the Adam & Eve contingent at the bash that got underway at 9 and continued through midnight at the luxurious pool area. One of the most popular spots was outside the Adam & Eve bungalows where the company set up a step-and-repeat wall so VIP guests could get their pictures taken with the adult stars.

Professional athletes such as Miami Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter grabbed group pictures with Adam & Eve contract girl Ava Rose, one of the principal stars of Eden, Zero Tolerance exclusive Courtney Cummz, Hustler contract performer Memphis Monroe and Adam & Eve regulars Sunny Lane, Paola Rey and Mya Mason.

Cummz performed in Eden in a special swap that entailed Adam & Eve's Carmen Luvana starring in a movie for Zero Tolerance's sister company Third Degree. Meanwhile, two of the principal male stars in Eden, AVN's reigning Male Performer of the Year, Tommy Gunn, and fellow AVN award-winning stud Evan Stone - also mingled with the sexy crowd.

Eden director Daniel Dakota and star Carmen Luvana were unable to attend the events, however several members of the Adam & Eve camp were spotted. Among the executives sipping cocktails on the pool deck were the company's director of new business, Bob Christian, executive producer Meredith Christopher, VP of sales and marketing Peter Reynolds, director of public relations Katy Zvolerin and publicists Mischa Allen and Brian Gross. Director Will Ryder and A! Entertainment host Tony Batman also joined the festivities.

Adam & Eve left nothing to chance at the party which came about as a result of a collaboration between a pair of old friends, Adam & Eve's Reynolds and Palms director of promotions Trent Allen Parks. Movie trailers played on in-house TV channels and bar and restaurant monitors. The company's logo was projected on the side of the hotel and even the custom-made silk pajamas that were provided for the high-rollers included an Adam & Eve logo embroidered on the sleeve.

Meanwhile, Blackjack tables were set up under a canopy, models walked around wearing only body paint, a 12-piece house band called "Sante Fe" played and bartenders mixed a special drink created for the weekend called an Edentini. It was a flavorful mixture of Right Gin, Apple Schnapps, Fresh Sour and fresh thyme.

On Friday night, Adam & Eve created "One Night in Eden" inside the Palms' grand ballroom, decorating the space with Eden-esque foliage and inviting several dozen sexy models to dress up in little more than bikinis made of leaves. Four go-go dancers kept the energy high as a female DJ mixed a hot set of hip-hop music and nearly 500 party-goers ate prime rib, shrimp and assorted desserts. The company even hired two models to play Adam and Eve. Both posed for pictures next to a giant apple while a beautiful snake charmer handled an 11-foot python a few feet away from them.

The Adam & Eve step-and-repeat wall was mobbed as Cummz, Rose, Lane and Rey all posed for photos with numerous Palms' VIPs while a slickly edited trailer of Eden looped continuously on HD monitors and two theatre screens.

Dakota filmed the fantasy epic in high-definition during 10 days in April on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The movie features 10 sex scenes ranging from a girl/girl between Luvana and Cummz in a secluded beach cove to a boy/girl with Luvana and Jerry on a yacht and a threeway with Cummz, Luvana and Jean Val Jean in same place where Jurassic Park was shot. Dakota also employed an array of special effects including CGI animation in the action fantasy. Eden also features performances by rising star Bree Olson, newcomer Evan Valentine and mainstream actor Xavier Towers in a non-sex role as Eden's host.
