Adam & Eve Releases Sex Survey Results

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. A recent survey sponsored by Adam & Eve finds that on the average Americans lose their virginity at age 17 or 18. The study, carried out by web survey company Cvent, questioned over 1000 adults about their sexual history.

“Based on everything we read, see and hear these days, we were expecting to find Americans admitting to losing their virginity at an earlier age,” said Katy Zvolerin, director of public relations for Adam & Eve.

Of those surveyed, the numbers show that 31 percent of males and 30 percent of females had their first sexual experience at age 17 or 18. The poll also showed that 25 percent of males and 30 percent of females lost their virginity at 15 or 16 years of age, and that 7 percent of males and females waited until they were older than 22.
