LOS ANGELES—The AVN Awards Show season will begin June 4-6 with an array of festivities, including the anticipated announcement of the 2011 hosts at a press conference at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, the official home of the world-renowned AVN Awards Show.
AVN Media Network and the N9NE Group have invited 14 of the top adult stars in the country to host the popular Ditch Friday pool party at the Palms Pool & Bungalows on Friday afternoon, June 4 followed by an AVN Awards Show kickoff bash at the luxurious Moon nightclub later that evening.
The names of the 2011 hosts as well as other exciting announcements will be revealed at a press gathering on Friday. Then on Saturday, June 5 AVN will shoot the official 2011 Awards Show ad campaign featuring a star-studded lineup of girls. The confirmed list of starlets is loaded with AVN Award-winners, beautiful contract performers and past Awards Show hosts, including Jenna Haze, Belladonna, Savanna Samson, Tori Black, Kayden Kross, Kirsten Price, Kagney Linn Karter, Riley Steele, Joanna Angel, Misty Stone, Courtney Cummz, Sara Sloane, Bobbi Starr and Raven Alexis.

Ditch Friday, an event that began in 2007 and soon became one of the hottest weekly pool parties in Vegas, will get a little hotter on June 4. The Official Girls of AVN will serve as the celebrity judges for a Hot Body Contest that will award $5,000 cash to the winner who will be announced at 4 p.m. Contestants must register before noon and may do so at the pool entrance.
"We are thrilled to be the home of AVN," said Palms owner George Maloof. “The summer pool party is going to be a spectacular event."
There will also be autograph signings and lots of photo opportunities throughout the weekend.
“This is a completely new event for us and it should be a blast,” said Paul Fishbein, AVN founder. “All these hot girls at multiple parties and events throughout the casino, just to celebrate the awards shows past and future. We had a great 2010 Awards Show at the Palms and we know the January, 2011 Awards Show will be ever bigger and better.”
