LAS VEGAS—Several of the top adult film stars in the country lit up the Moon nightclub at the Palms Casino Resort on Friday night for the official 2011 AVN Awards Show kickoff party.
The sizzling parade of performers included AVN Award-winners, contract girls and former Awards Show hosts who were all there to toast the launch of the new Awards Show season.
Among the girls representing AVN at the futuristic club on the top floor of the Palms' Fantasy Tower were Belladonna, Jenna Haze, Kayden Kross, Riley Steele, Raven Alexis, Joanna Angel, Sara Sloane and Bobbi Starr. Perched in two spacious VIP booths next to the dance floor, they sipped drinks and attracted attention from all sides as the Moon DJ gave AVN shout-outs about every 20 minutes.
The wee hours unfolded with Kagney Linn Karter sashaying across the platform flashing her pretty smile, while Kirsten Price, Savanna Samson and Misty Stone teased the crowd with their sensual moves, bumping and grinding like no one was watching. Reigning AVN Performer of the Year Tori Black arrived fashionably late but didn't disappoint the throngs with a display of go-go dancing that left everyone wanting more. The night also included a James Deen sighting and porn newcomers Kim Tao and Sexy Mandie joining the party.
The 28th annual AVN Awards ceremony is set for Jan. 8 at the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms, which is now the official home of the show. The Digital Playground exclusive Steele was tapped to host the 2011 event, while a second host will be named later this summer.
