AVN Awards Show Debuts On-Demand and on Pay-Per-View

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif.—For the first time in history, the AVN Adult Movie Awards will make its TV premiere and enjoy an exclusive window on VOD and PPV. The AVN Awards Show takes place in Las Vegas every January, honoring the adult film industry with a stylish red carpet event and lavish, star-studded Awards Show.

The on-demand and PPV content provides coverage of the 27th annual Awards ceremony, as well as exclusive additional footage from the event on Jan. 9, 2010.

Avail-TVN, the largest digital media services company in North America, is the exclusive North American licensor of the 2010 AVN Awards for Video-on-Demand and Pay-Per-View. Avail-TVN will provide sales, licensing, delivery and asset management to AVN, making the exclusive content available to more than 50 million homes through its network of cable, telco and DBS affiliates.  

This year's event for the first time took place at the Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms Casino Resort. Avail-TVN will offer a full suite of programming, produced and marketed by AVN, including:

•    PPV Content including an edited version of the 2010 Awards Program, with red carpet and behind-the-scenes coverage, set to air on Feb. 5, with encore performances throughout the month.

•    VOD Content including the 2010 AVN Awards Program, and “AVN Insider," the uncensored, extended version of the 2009 Awards Program, and a free Adult Awards Show Preview.
