AMKingdom to Produce Multi-Rating Sci-Fi Epic

TARZANA, Calif.—AMKingdom begins principal photography this weekend on sci-fi adventure Saving Humanity, its follow-up to last year's big-budget comedy Revenge of the Petites. In a new twist on traditional release strategies for adult motion pictures, AMK plans to first issue an R-rated version of the movie through conventional theatrical, DVD, VOD and cable channels, then release a Director's Cut that AMK owner Kim Nielsen said "will include the XXX, sex-positive scenes."

Petites writer/director Harry Sparks returns on Saving Humanity, which the company says combines science fiction staples including post-apocalyptic futures and time travel.

"Saving Humanity is a cautionary tale about what lies ahead for our society if we continue down the wrong path," Sparks said. "Similar to Revenge of the Petites, our goal with AMKingdom is to create movies with a moral message and heart. In regards to Saving Humanity, the message is it's never too late to change ourselves and the future, as long as we allow ourselves to be aware and take responsibility."

Added Nielsen, "Harry wrote an amazing script, which I believe will push adult entertainment to new levels. Sex is used to enhance an already complex plot. It's a fantastic story, and we want to highlight it with the R-rated release."

The cast of Saving Humanity will be made up of popular models from AMK's parent company, adult network ATKingdom.com (Amateur Teen Kingdom). AMK was formed last year as the company's feature division, and Petites, its debut release, has racked up a bounty of accolades, including multiple AVN and XRCO award nominations, the Feature Movie of the Year trophy at the 2012 Urban X Awards, and the Gold Kush award for Feature Film (XXX Category) at the Humboldt International/420 Awards.
