AEE and ANE Announce Show Seminar Schedule

LOS ANGELES—AVN Media Network is pleased to announce that the seminar schedule for this January’s Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) and Adult Novelty Expo (ANE) has been released and posted to the websites for each event. AEE is celebrating its 15th year at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.

The following seminars are spread across the four days (January 16– 19) that encompass the two shows:

 

WEDNESDAY, Jan. 16

Home Room (AEE/ANE)

10-11 a.m.

You're a first-time exhibitor or attendee who hasn't the first clue of where to go, what to see or who to meet. Or you're a regular to the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo and the AVN Novelty Expo, but want to see if there is anything you have been missing all these years. Here is where you can find out how to make the most of your experience and what to expect from the shows.

 

The Many Benefits of Multimedia (AEE/ANE)

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Everyone by now should understand that an online presence is crucial if you want to survive. But what if you are missing out on something to help your image, brand or sales? This seminar looks at other media (podcasts, etc.) that might help you in the long run.

 

The Importance of PR and Marketing (ANE)

1-2 p.m.

In a tough economy, everyone looks to trim the fat, but is your PR and marketing budget really the place to cut corners? The panelists examine not only the reasons to continue funding that sector of your business, but also the importance of having it to begin with.

The adult production and novelty industry is a diverse enterprise wherein women are integral at every level. During this panel, an occupationally diverse collection of women will share their experiences working in adult, highlighting the challenges, advantages, adventures, and quirks of a business commonly construed as being “run by men.”

 

SATURDAY, Jan. 19

 

Legal Seminar (AEE)

11 a.m.-Noon

By January, we will know the results of the November election that will decide not only who will live in the White House for the next four years, but also which party will pick the next Supreme Court Justices and whether Los Angeles voters decided to pass Measure B, the controversial initiative making the use of condoms on porn sets mandatory. These are but a few of the central subjects on tap for a Legal Panel that promises to be a ripsnorter of a seminar.

Think you know the type of porn the fans really want to see? Find out for sure, as we get regular fans and critics alike to talk about the trends they see, what they want more of and what they can do without.

Wednesday is restricted to trade attendees only, and special “trade only” hours on Friday and Saturday will restrict access to industry professionals and the media in order to permit exhibitors to make and build business and media contacts before fans are allowed into the Expo. Trade registration provides badge holders access to all AEE and ANE seminars, the main exhibit hall during all show hours, and the AVN Novelty Expo. Special Fan Tickets are also now available at fall discount rates.
