Ever since he launched Ninn Worx a few years back, Michael Ninn has been almost universally praised for his unparalleled high style, but knocked in some quarters for his muted heat. Not sure if those criticisms were a factor in the creation of this stunning new line, but with it, Ninn has definitely answered them.
Neo Pornographia 2, like the debut volume (AVN Editor's Choice, May), is scalding and hard edge indeed, but being a Ninn creation, in a very distinctive way. It, of course, also boasts Ninn's usual stellar production values — everything is set in a striking, moodily lit, austere space — though not so much pizzazz that it, rather then the sex, is the main course.
There's only three scenes here, but what scenes they are, lengthy — 45, 75 and 57 minutes respectively — and packed with demonically energized no-holes-barred porn that belies the angelic singing of the mistress of ceremonies, Nicki Hunter (a decadent, dominant, trash talking hurricane in all other respects, though she doesn't fuck here).
The barnburner is the opener, which starts off with some hot solo action from a glamed out Ariana Jollee, proceeds to a fourway of sorts as Hunter sucks Scott Nails while Ari deep throats Alex Sanders, then winds up in a blistering Jollee/Sanders/Nails d.p./double A topped off by simultaneous facials. It's made even more riveting by a real-deal screaming match between Sanders and Jollee that erupts after he hits her; edgy choice by Ninn to leave that in.
The whole, well, shebang is a hard act to follow, but Alicia Rhodes, Hillary Scott, Marco and Hunter in scene two, and Jayna Oso, Manual Ferrara and Steve Holmes in scene three (on the second disc), give it a run for its money.
The extras, meanwhile, include an hour's worth of footage from the first Neo Porographia with Audrey Hollander, Melissa Lauren, Sandra Romaine and Julie Knight.
