WantedList.com Adds iPhone Streaming Service to VOD Platform

LOS ANGELES - Wanted List has expanded its video-on-demand services with the launch of its iPhone tailored site, M.WantedList.com.

The service is free to Wanted List video-on-demand subscribers and will be free for DVD rental customers until Aug. 17.

The site offers unlimited access to more than 2,000 full-length scenes from its library of movies which are specifically designed for the iPhone. The streaming site also can be purchased as a standalone service for $14.95 per month.

"We're really excited about this new product," Anh Tran, co-founder of Wanted List said. "In terms of new growth opportunities for our company, the new iPhone 3G is about as great of an invention as the DVD was in today's market."

Tran said he believes the new iPhone will significantly help drive the adult mobile business in North America.

"The mobile adult industry in North America has been more or less nonexistent due to limitations imposed by carriers, problems with data transferring when you're not near a WIFI hub and problems with the size of mobile devices itself," he said.

On top of offering this new service to its members, affiliates and content companies can get their own version of the site as well.

"We've developed the software and content delivery network as a white-label solution, where anyone can use their own branding, logo and colors to promote the site and share in revenues," Tran added.

"We've also built the technology out as a stand-alone platform, so any company can license it and put their own specific content on the platform and handle all of their own billing," said Danny Ting, co-founder of Wanted List.
