Stephen Bugbee Named President of Matrix Content

CALABASAS, Calif. - Content provider Matrix Content Inc. announced Tuesday that it has hired 10-year industry veteran Stephen Bugbee as its new president.

"Matrix Content is a fantastic brand with a second-to-none content library," Bugbee said. "I look forward to working with the Matrix team on some new and exciting projects."

Among those projects will be the expansion of Matrix Content's search capabilities and the launch of the leased-feeds program MatrixFeeds and MatrixHD, a subscription-based site scheduled to hit the market early in 2008, he said.

"We are counting on Bugbee's vast experience and expertise in numerous aspects of the adult industry," CEO Norman Bentley said. "His strong relationships throughout the industry will also be a key factor in Matrix Content growing to its full potential."

Bugbee founded X2K Media Group in 1998 after leaving the Digital Island Channel program. He has helped companies such as Playboy and Bang Bros. take their DVD libraries online. Bugbee also has served as vice president of sales for the GigaCash affiliate program and director of marketing for XBIZ, and he has held board positions and served as a consultant at a variety of adult and mainstream companies, such as 110 Media, Emuzed, Coca-Cola, Rocket Cash, Carsey-Werner and King World.
