Rainey Stricklin Joins Traffic Dude’s Management Team

PUEBLO, Colo. - Traffic Dude, an online advertising agency focusing on adult entertainment, has hired Rainey Stricklin as its vice president.

Stricklin, who was hired as part of the company's reorganization plan, will begin later this month.

"Rainey is a very savvy, highly experienced management and online-advertising professional," co-founder Scott Rabinowitz said. "Tony [Gallardo] and I have been working to fine-tune our organization and felt strongly that we needed someone with extensive experience in the industry and with [experience in] online advertising in particular to round out our management team. Working together again in this capacity, Rainey will collaborate with us to refine and expand the Traffic Dude business as a whole."

Stricklin's 11-year career in the adult industry largely has been in online advertising. She first worked with Rabinowitz in the 1990s with WebSideStory before establishing her own ad agency, Detour Interactive. Having spent a few years exploring the world of affiliate programs and billing, Stricklin said she looks forward to getting back to her advertising roots.

"I've been fortunate to gain experience in various sectors of the online adult industry over the past few years," she said. "I think that knowledge, combined with my advertising-management experience, will give me a unique perspective as I take on this new challenge."

Among other duties, Stricklin will oversee the Traffic dude's sales, marketing and business-development departments, and work with key accounts to develop new business strategies and opportunities.
