LOS ANGELES - Porn.net was sold for $400,000 in the domain name auction held this week during Domain Fest at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel.

Other notable sales include Bookmarks.com for $300,000, Alimony.com for $75,000, Butcher.com for $50,000 and SatinPanties.com for $10,000.

Porn.net originally was registered with Register.com in 2002 as an adult search engine and link site. The domain now is with NaturalProducts.com, awaiting funding approval for the transfer.

In a sale brokered by Moniker last year, MXN Ltd. bought Porn.com for about $9 million.

MXN, based in Barbados, is an Internet media and investment company that acquires, develops and deploys Web properties. The company is affiliated with PimpRoll.

Domain Fest, founded by a division of Oversee.net, which owns Moniker, is a three-day convention held twice annually.
