Playboy Announces Organizational Changes in Online Areas

CHICAGO — Playboy Media Group announced organizational changes Thursday as some key company staff take on new roles.

According to Executive Vice President Jeremy S. Westin, Eric Matis has been named vice president of affiliate programs and industry relations. 

In this expanded role, Matis will manage all of Playboy's affiliate subscription products — Reality  Cash, Club Jenna and Adult.com — with a  goal of increasing traffic, joins and retention, and generally driving increased subscription revenue. 

Matis will also continue to run GFY and Webmaster Access, and leverage his industry contacts to drive new business development and marketing opportunities for Playboy Webmaster and adult properties. 

Reporting to Matis, Reena Patel is now director of product development and affiliate management. Patel will work across all of the company's affiliate products, primarily focusing on management of marketing outreach to drive increased traffic and joins to Playboy-branded products. 

Additionally, Dan Smith takes on a new title as vice president of digital content. Smith will be responsible for the centralized production, management and operations of Playboy's adult programming efforts. In addition to overseeing production, he'll cover distribution of video assets to the company's online partners.
