CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Internext Las Vegas 2008, the world's largest business-to-business trade show for the adult industry's online and digital-media sectors, has launched its official website with a new look and feel to go with the show's new format and venue.
Online registration now is being accepted. Internext will run from Sunday, Jan. 13, through Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nev. The show will kick off with a party Sunday night and offer seminars and exhibits on Monday and Tuesday
Internext Las Vegas will no longer have a traditional show floor: Instead, the show will be held in the 25,000-square-foot Rain nightclub at the Palms. It will offer an array of VIP rooms, private skyboxes, indoor cabanas, fully stocked bars and a stage with ongoing entertainment.
"We are very excited about the move to the Palms, and the response from our clients has been extraordinary," said Senior Show Manager Renee Johnson. "We believe this venue will be a great match for our group, and this show is sure to be the most talked-about Internext to date."
Internext has reserved all fantasy-themed suites on the 25th and 26th floors for a block party. The two private floors include some of the most decadent suites on the strip, complete with peek-a-boo showers, dancer poles, full bars and a bowling alley.
"The combination of new show format and the coolest hotel and casino in Vegas, along with the best elements from traditional trade shows, is going to make for one hell of an event," said AVN Online Co-Publisher MJ McMahon. "Internext is once again raising the bar, and AVN Online is proud to be a part of this next-generation event."
Internext Las Vegas also will feature a fundamental education program, including an opening keynote address. The single-track program will focus on the evolving needs of the online adult industry.
The live adult domain auction, a staple at the past two shows, will return at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15. The past auctions featured hundreds of premier adult and mainstream domains, such as Bisexual.com, Dirty.com, Pimps.com and Taboo.com. Send domains to [email protected] by Nov. 6.
