ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - At the CEDIA Expo in Denver, DISH Network premiered an IPTV feature that offers an "After Hours" selection in the menu.
Since the show in September, DISH
Network has included a recording in customers' DVR lists to explain the new features
and how to activate the Internet-based content feature DISH Online. Once a customer
connects a network cable from his or her DISH Network DVR to a cable modem, DSL
modem or home network, the "After Hours" link appears in the menu, offering
paying customers a selection of adult entertainment.
Delivering a wide selection of adult titles via satellite is virtually
impossible because of the bandwidth it requires, but those titles can be made
available through Internet connections.
