Cybersocket Relaunches Website

LOS ANGELES - A decade after making waves with its search directory, Cybersocket is shaking things up again with the relaunch of Cybersocket.com.

"Essentially, we are making the website its own editorial stand-alone product," said Morgan Sommer, president of Cybersocket.

The revamped website is more editorially driven, especially in the area of website reviews.

"We now have more quality reviews with better descriptions," Sommer said. "Many of the reviews are now 400 to 600 words."

New reviews will be added daily, Sommer added.

While much of the new content will be different from that of Cybersocket magazine, Sommer said, the site will still feature the magazine's content.

The site also is easier to navigate, Sommer said, and gets content to visitors as soon as they hit the front page.

Sommer credited the staff at Envisionext, a New York company that works in Web design for adult companies, for much of the redesign.

"Ian Klein [an owner of Envisionext] really listened to our ideas and our needs and came up with a wonderful site that works," he said.

The Cybersocket website launched in 1998, one year after Sommer and Tim Lutz produced the first annual Cybersocket Directory. The magazine got its start in 1999.
