Lingerie, Pleasure Product Companies Showcase Wares at Altitude

LAS VEGAS—Faux fur, lights, velvet, festival wear and swimwear dominated the booths of lingerie companies exhibiting at Altitude Intimates Show, while pleasure products companies showcased new toys for men and unisex toys and products.

Taking place at the Paris Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Altitude featured a mixture of lingerie pleasure products on its show floor. In the Spartacus booth, reps debuted their new Noir range of handmade clothing items for men and women. The pieces in the collection comes in sizes up to 6X and include mini dresses, bodysuits, tights and more for women, and bodysuits, mesh shirts and tanks for men.

“The pieces are made in Europe, and come in a gift box with tissue paper and an envelope that contains instructions on how to care for the items,” said Roger Faddoul of Spartacus.

The company also introduced new scented and pheromone-infused bath bombs, soy massage candles in scents like Sensual Strawberry, Conquest Lemon Vanilla, Spank Me Leather and Tropical Desire and Rosebuds anal plugs.

Faddoul noted the plugs feature metal from France and many are decorated with genuine Swarovski crystals.

Magic Silk and sibling company Male Power drew buyers to their shared booth with their new collections. Male Power’s Terra Cotta line is men’s underwear with a Southwestern flair to it, and the company’s Novelty range of underwear showcased its four new styles.

Pastease—a company known for making whimsical and fantasy nipple covers in various styles and fabrics—showed attendees its new styles of reusable silicone nipple covers that can be worn every day.

Faux fur coats with lights embedded in the fabric, tie-dyed fabrics and day-glo colors are part of the designs in JValentine’s festival collection named The Firefly Sanctuary. The pieces involve the Summer of Love with its patterns and colors.

Electric Eel and Hustler shared a booth at the show, and reps enticed buyers with the new Vibe Therapy collection, which features 18 SKUs of rabbit-style vibrators, petite massagers, single-shaft stimulators and more in lighter pink and purple colors. The companies also added eight new styles to the popular Glas line, and 11 new pieces to the Blue Line of C&B gear. Also on display were four new items in the Lux Fetish range; the pieces—which include a double penetration strap-on and a butt plug—all vibrate and are inflatable for a more customized fit.

Also big in this year’s fashions are mermaid-esque looks, which were on display in Roma Costumes’ booth. The lingerie company had new styles of body suits with robes or long skirts made of iridescent green and purple fabric, and that featured large sequin discs in the same colors scheme.

Reps in the booth for Eldorado Trading Co. featured a number of manufacturers throughout the days of the show, and highlighted new products and ranges exclusive to the adult distributor, including the Crescndo from MysteryVibe, the Dodil moldable vibrator and the WaterSlyde, an aquatic stimulator that redirects water from a tub faucet to the user’s intimate areas.

The Entrenue booth also featured a number of companies and products carried by the distributor, including Fun Factory, b-Vibe, Warm, Olivia’s Boudoir and We-Vibe, which celebrated its 10-year anniversary by sponsoring the pool party the first night of the three-day show.

The Cousins Group also exhibited at the show, and displayed its Pornstar Signature Series.

“The pieces debuted in January and the 15 SKUs will be in stock and ready for shipment in June,” said Dennis D., CEO of the Cousins Group. “We sold out the first run.”

The strokers, molded after some of today’s top performers, come in tins with a lid that doubles as a cell-phone holder so users can watch adult content while using the products.

Lovely Planet was also on the show floor with new products, including one uniquely designed for men, but that can be used by women and couples. The Man-Wand cradles the head and shaft of the penis, delivering strong vibrations in various patterns as users glide it up and down.

“Women can use it as well, simply by turning the wand around so it stimulates the clitoris and labia,” explained Delphine Pegues of Lovely Planet.

The company also debuted the Strap-On-Me range, which features strap-on dildos and more.

Fantasy Lingerie’s booth was buzzing as visitors learned about the new P.S. I Love You swimwear collection from the award-wining manufacturer.

“We introduced the line with a small selection of pieces based on some of our top-selling lingerie styles,” said Leilani Whitney, president of Fantasy Lingerie.

In additional to traditional swimwear fabric (nylon and Spandex), pieces in the range are made from crushed velvet, wet look fabric and lace. There are also plus-size designs in the range, which is made in the U.S.

The company also showcased its Whitney Bissette Leisurie collection of resort wear. With rompers, long dresses, beach pants and more made of gauze, several items in the range go up to size XXXL.

Also new to the lingerie manufacturer is the Premium Play Men’s collection.

“This is a hanging line of bedroom costumes for men,” Whitney said. “We had retailers telling us there were no good bedroom costumes for men, so we developed this line.”

The Gluteus Maximus (a Roman soldier), Shell Slayer (a sexy take on a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle), Dragula (a vampire with a harness cape) and more comes in sizes small, medium and large, and range in wholesales prices between $16 and $24. The collection will be ready to ship within the next few weeks.

The Satisfyer booth, reps showed off the SatisfyerMen product, which is now in stock and shipping.

“This product offers us a chance to reach a new client base,” said Jerome Bensimon, vice president of sales. “And with a price of $39.95 it makes it easy for more people to afford a quality toy.”

Bensimon also noted reps were showcasing the Partner Plus, which now comes with a remote control.

Impulse Novelties also was among the exhibitors at Altitude, and reps were eager to talk about the company’s new Bling crystal vibrators.

“The crystals are embedded into the handle, not just glued on, so there’s no fear of them falling off,” said Shon McLean, executive brand ambassador for Impulse Novelties.

The vibrators boast 12 functions and are crafted from silicone and ABS plastic. There are three styles, each in two colors, and all of the pieces are USB rechargeable, waterproof and come with a warranty.

The packaging for Bling is silver, so it catches light on store shelves, and features a magnetic closure.
