Brooke Skye Dismisses Melissa Midwest From Lawsuit

TAMPA, Fla. - Internet porn model Hope Miller, known on her site as Brooke Skye, has voluntarily dismissed Melissa Harrington, aka Melissa Midwest, as a defendant in Miller's lawsuit against Sirius Satellite Radio shock jock Bubba the Love Sponge Clem.

In the suit, filed in October 2006, Miller claimed Clem forced her to perform a sex act on the air. During the incident, Midwest reportedly used a dildo on Miller, who said the act was done against her will and the sex toy was too big and caused injuries.

In addition to Clem and Midwest, the suit also named Sirius and staff members from the "Bubba the Love Sponge" show as defendants. Miller asked for $15,000 in damages.

Miller agreed to voluntarily settle the lawsuit against Midwest for a minimal amount of money: $10 to make it legally binding.

During the case, Midwest had filed several counter-complaints, which have been dismissed as part of the agreement.

In the original suit, Miller claims Clem didn't tell her another model would use a sex toy on her when she agreed to appear on the show. When Miller tried to back out of the stunt, Clem scolded her and threatened to stop promoting her website, the suit said.

In July 2007, Florida Circuit Judge Marva Crenshaw ruled that the plaintiffs presented enough evidence for the suit to proceed.
