SAN FRANCISCO — Falcon Entertainment announced on May 10 the re-launch of its Falcon International line. Knockout (FIC026), set for release on May 21, will be the first Falcon International title released since August 2002.
This hugely successful line of films began in 1993 with George Duroy’s Accidental Lovers (FIC001). Duroy directed eight more films before leaving to start Bel Ami. Those films, including Pleasure Express (FIC003), Sauna Paradiso (FIC002), and Blue Danube (FIC006) were some of the first gay adult films to unleash the virility and beauty of eastern European men on the U.S. adult film market.
The next 14 Falcon International titles were directed by Steve Kiraly. Among these are the highly-rated and -reviewed Hungary Men (FIC016), The Conquest (FIC017), and Red Hot (FIC018).
The newest title, Knockout, directed by Tom Bradford and starring Bel Ami superstar Tim Hamilton, will be the first of many Bradford-directed films for the Falcon International line, according to Falcon Entertainment President and CEO Todd Montgomery.
“Tom has already delivered a body of work that is commensurate with early Falcon International films," Montgomery said. "From his directing style to the quality of talent he finds, Tom’s contributions to the line will endure and his films will become classics just as Duroy and Kiraly’s have. We are extremely proud and excited to re-launch this highly missed line of films and hope the longtime fans of FIC are as impressed as we are.”
Following Knockout's May debut are European Holiday 1 (FIC027), releasing on June 25, and European Holiday 2 (FIC028) on July 16.
