BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Wolf Hudson, the Bronx-born, self-proclaimed King of Kink, has become the latest gay porn performer to leave the traditional studio environment for a career on the Web. He signed an exclusive contract with CockyBoys.com this week.
Although he studied to become an actor and hip-hop dancer in legitimate theater, Hudson's rise to prominence in gay porn began with roles for Lucas Entertainment in 2006.
Of Dominican heritage, Hudson is straight. He announced to Unzipped magazine in January that he was leaving the gay side of the adult industry to pursue more roles in straight porn. He changed his mind after shooting a scene with CockyBoys.
"I had heard all these great things about CockyBoys, so I did a scene with them," Hudson said. "I had options with straight porn companies and was actually going to go back to the straight porn world exclusively, but my experience with [CockyBoys] was so positive and chill that I made the decision to come to work with them exclusively."
Hudson is known for his willingness to experiment on film, and CockyBoys' in-your-face attitude and encouragement of boundary pushing are part of what convinced him to sign with the studio, he said.
"CockyBoys is growing and getting better and bigger all the time, and that's the kind of company I want to be a part of - something fresh and not stagnant," he said. "They are also supportive of me pursuing some straight porn work on the side, which is ideal for me."
CockyBoys owner Kyle Majors called Hudson "the epitome of cocky."

Hudson is nominated for several 2009 GAYVN Awards, including Performer of the Year, Best Supporting Actor and Best Sex Scene - Duo. He'll find out in March if he won. He also received nominations from the 2009 XBIZ Awards.
