Riley Renews Channel 1 Contract

LOS ANGELES – Channel 1 Releasing and Rascal Video exclusive Blake Riley have renewed their contractual relationship, the company announced Tuesday.

Rascal Video is a subsidiary of Channel 1.

“When we brought Blake onboard a year ago, it quickly became apparent to all of us that he was destined to be a great star,” director and C1R partner Chi Chi LaRue said. “Not only has he proven to be one of the most talented and versatile models working today, but with his unwavering positive attitude and professionalism on and off the set he has also become one of the most likeable performers in the adult entertainment industry.”

Riley was flown to Los Angeles immediately after LaRue discovered him on the Web, the director revealed. Following his performance in his first feature film, Knob Bobbin, LaRue couldn’t wait to sign Riley to an exclusive contract. Since then, Riley has starred in several of the company’s biggest hits, including Link: The Evolution, Bottom of the Ninth: Little Big League 3, and Chi Chi LaRue’s Restless Youths. He also stars in the soon-to-be released Chosen.

“[Riley’s] audience appeal is all over the map,” LaRue said. “Whether you’re into twinks, jocks, leather pups, insatiable bottoms or manly tops, Blake is sure to be on the top of your favorites list.”

He seems to be at the top of the critics’ lists. Riley was nominated in the Best Newcomer category for the 2008 GAYVN Awards.

“Being a Rascal exclusive has been the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” Riley said. “I’ve done so many great things and met so many great people this past year. It’s truly been a mind-blowing experience. Chi Chi and the whole Channel 1 Releasing gang have become my new family, and I’m looking forward to working with them for a very, very long time.”

So what’s on the horizon for Riley? His most recent feature film, Chi Chi LaRue’s Excess, will be released Feb. 26, and Topco Sales plans to debut a new Rascal Toy made from a mold of his most famous private part. In addition, Riley will be a presenter at the 2008 XBiz Awards.

He currently is in Palm Springs filming his seventh movie for C1R.
