November 2006 Gossip

I caught up with John Waters at the Toronto International Film Festival where he was talking about his concert film, This Filthy World, that Jeff Garlin, the actor from Curb Your Enthusiasm, directed. Waters dishes plenty during the concert film, even suggesting that programmers for college film fests do things like "show porn and have nude ushers and then deny it later when the administration asks about it." I guarantee you that some college kids were taking notes and may be taking some of those suggestions to heart.

John told me he's very excited about Jeff Stryker's one-man show, Bruce Vilanch Presents a Sophisticated Evening With Jeff Stryker, and can't wait for it to come to the East Coast. "I had a great moment walking down Santa Monica Boulevard with Jeff Stryker and watching people shocked at the both of us together," he said. "First, people would recognize one of us, and then see who the other was. It was funny to watch." Waters said, "I'm a big fan and friend of Jeff Stryker's and I'm delighted to see what he can do." Meanwhile, look for Filthy World on NetFlick.

Blue Blake says he's working "like a heathen" on his new line of videos and that he just sold his autobiography to Avalon Press. His porn book is called Out of the Blue: Confessions of an Unlikely Porn Star. I can't wait to read it. Blue warned me, however, that there's a part about a reviewer who "had hair like Jill Munroe, the most bewitching of Charlie's three angels." Guess who that is? Yeah, my hair was a bit longer back then.

Not many people know that superhung Chad Hunt was actually married to a woman for many years. (That explains the son, then.) When he worked in a factory in the South the guys in the showers after work used to tease him that his mom must have screwed a horse. His wife called his member "the bald bazooka." Anyway, Hunt is having a good year, not only with some of his titles, but with some of the perks. His award-worthy scene in Michael Lucas' Encounters 3: FlashPoint with Ben Andrews and Sal is gaining new fans for all three of them.

Hunt says one of the big perks is going into a store and coming out with free stuff, from sunglasses to household items. "They give me things for free. The best thing was a Bergdorf Goodman salesman who would give me free clothes." Meanwhile, Hunt insists that he's ironed out his conflict with Michael Lucas and is back in the Lucas Entertainment stable.
