Bijou Re-releases Man's Hand Classic Trio

CHICAGO - Bijou Video has re-released three classic Man's Hand titles from the 1980s and '90s: Lesson Well Learned, Disciplining the Undisciplined Athlete and Spanking Little Brother.

Man's Hand Films, founded in the late 1970s by John Stewart, was the first studio to produce gay spanking films. Stewart sold several of his early film loops to Bijou Video, which released them in video compilations in the late 1980s.

Serious spanking and red cheeks are the order of the day in 1988's Lesson Well Learned. Directed by Stewart, the title features four vignettes. In the title short, Craig Duncan portrays a cop who goes undercover to nab young would-be muggers Eddie Perez and Russell Helm and administer due punishment.

Disciplining the Undisciplined Athlete is filled with close-ups of reddened butt cheeks and dangling cocks and balls. Released in 1989, the film's theme of cocky young jocks is well represented by a cast that includes Gino Colbert, Kevin Gladstone, John Kass and Eric Talas.

Spanking Little Brother
is a bad-boy twink film from 1994. Kevin Glover stars as a corporate type who volunteers for a "big brothers" program and subsequently resorts to corporal punishment to rein in mischievous Kit Jordan.

The new DVD editions were digitally remastered and feature new packaging and labeling. Lesson Well Learned, Disciplining the Undisciplined Athlete and Spanking Little Brother are available separately at Bijou Video's website and from select distributors of gay adult videos.
