AEE Registration Now Available; New B2B Area and Gay Product Showcase

The AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) returns to Las Vegas for the fifth consecutive year in January, anticipating their largest turnout ever with over 200 adult companies committed to the show that brings businesses and fans together for fours days of exposure to the largest comprehensive collection of adult talent, exhibitors and product.

Registration is now open for retailers, manufacturers, distributors, buyers, press and fans of adult entertainment to attend the AEE being held January 8-11, 2004 at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“The AVN Adult Entertainment Expo not only highlights the economic strength of the industry but also the strong connections that fans have to their favorite adult stars and products,” said Carrie Dieterich, spokesperson for Home Entertainment Events (HEE), the company that presents the annual event.

Last year’s AEE drew more than 8,000 industry professionals and more than 15,000 fans, establish new attendance records. Industry and fan attendance continues to be a driving factor behind the success of the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo.

“The continued growth of this show over the last few years reflects the wave of popularity that the adult industry is riding,” said Paul Fishbein, president of Adult Video News. “The Expo is a tremendous opportunity for those in the adult trade to promote new products and talent to industry peers, the media, and their devoted fans.”

New to the 2004 AEE is the addition of the “B2B Marketplace” and the Gay Product Showcase. The B2B Marketplace is a “trade only” area of the exhibit floor for companies that feature products such as point of sale systems, carpeting, shelving, and other display-type merchandise.

The Gay Product Showcase is an area of the exhibit floor that will be devoted to gay and lesbian-themed products. This special showcase is being sponsored by Cybersocket, Paladin Video, and Specialty Publications.

Director/performer Chi Chi La Rue will be on hand to greet fans along with other stars from the top gay adult video production studios.

Dietrich added, “The additions of the trade only business-to-business area on the floor as well as a Gay Pavilion and a new marketing campaign have all had an effect on the spike in registrations to date.”

Companies committed the show include: Adam & Eve Productions, Anabolic Video Productions, Inc., Digital Playground, Inc., Elegant Angel Video Productions, Evil Angel Video, Hustler Video, Jill Kelly Productions, Metro Interactive LLC, New Sensations, Penthouse International, Pleasure Productions, Private Media Group, VCA Pictures, Vivid Video, Wicked Pictures, and many more.
